Full description
**Rocketdyne is a proven leader in space propulsion, space electronics, and power systems, backed by more than 60 years of flight heritage and innovation. We've delivered more than 22,000 spacecraft engines, sent spacecraft to every planet in the solar system, and powered America's most critical missions — from the Moon landings to Mars rovers to the fastest human-made object ever built. Now, as an independent space technology company, we're writing our strongest chapter yet.
We're moving space forward — and we want marketers who can help us tell that story on the world's biggest stages. Job Description: **
Rocketdyne's Communications team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Events Senior Manager to help build our brand presence and drive awareness across key markets. This person will own the execution of Rocketdyne's conference and tradeshow strategy while supporting broader marketing initiatives that position Rocketdyne as the proven leader in space propulsion, space electronics, and power systems.
This is a high-visibility role at a pivotal moment. As a newly independent company with a storied heritage and significant growth ahead, Rocketdyne is investing in its external presence — and this person will be at the center of that effort. If you're energized by fast-paced environments, love the logistics and creativity of event management, and want your work to matter in national security and space exploration — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
Tradeshows & Events:
- Own Rocketdyne's tradeshow strategy, including booth design and logistics, speaking opportunities and VIP engagements
- Manage end-to-end event execution — from pre-event planning through on-site coordination and post-event follow-up
- Coordinate exhibitor logistics, calendar management, vendor relationships, and on-site staffing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for conference organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Develop event protocol documentation and briefing materials for internal stakeholders, covering roles and responsibilities, messaging guidance, dress standards, etc.
- Identify and evaluate new conference and sponsorship opportunities aligned with Rocketdyne's growth markets, including national security space, cislunar operations, and nuclear propulsion
- Travel to represent Rocketdyne at key industry events with polish and professionalism
Marketing & Brand:
- Support the development and execution of Rocketdyne's corporate marketing and brand communications plan
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve Rocketdyne's external website, ensuring the site reflects current messaging and business priorities
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral including one-pagers, briefing materials, presentations, and messaging guides that reflect Rocketdyne's brand standards and key messages
