This role involves individual contributions as well as managing and coordinating a team of Data Scientists to drive business solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the Data Science team, coaching and supporting their development to establish a well-balanced internal and external resource team.
- Build analytical capabilities through individual contributions and coaching within a Product-Based Organization.
- Ensure effective allocation of resources for prioritized analytics projects adhering to agile principles.
- Managing budgeting, governance, and processes effectively.
- Stay updated with industry standards, integrating new technologies, algorithms, and frameworks.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Science with a proven record of leading Data Science teams.
- Proficiency with AWS stack, LLMs, and Agentic Frameworks, such as LangChain.
- Experience in MLOps, specifically in deploying and maintaining production models, AWS SageMaker knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and compliance issues.
