Full description
Key Responsibilities1. Digital Deployment Strategy
- Define the overall deployment and rollout strategy for enterprise digital products, platforms, and services.
- Develop deployment roadmaps covering PoC, Pilot, MVP, Production, Phased Rollout, and Enterprise Scale.
- Determine rollout sequencing across business units, locations, channels, customer segments, or operating environments.
- Identify deployment dependencies, constraints, risks, assumptions, and readiness requirements early in the lifecycle.
- Define repeatable deployment frameworks, playbooks, and patterns that can be used across multiple digital initiatives.
- Align deployment strategy with business priorities, technology strategy, enterprise architecture, security requirements, and operational capabilities.
2. Solutioning & Deployment Architecture
- Translate business and product requirements into deployable enterprise solutions.
- Lead solutioning discussions across application, API, integration, cloud, data, AI, security, infrastructure, and operations.
- Work with Enterprise and Solution Architects to determine the appropriate technical approach and deployment model.
- Assess build, buy, partner, reuse, and platform-based options.
- Identify gaps in existing enterprise capabilities that could prevent successful deployment.
- Ensure solutions are designed with production deployment, scalability, resilience, security, observability, and supportability in mind.
3. Cross-functional Program Orchestration
- Drive execution across multiple product, engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, operations, business, and partner teams.
- Establish a common deployment plan with clear milestones, owners, dependencies, and decision points.
- Track cross-team dependencies and actively drive closure of blockers.
- Manage deployment risks, issues, assumptions, and escalations.
- Establish governance and operating cadence for large or strategically important rollout programs.
- Ensure all participating teams remain aligned to the deployment objective, timelines, and production outcomes.
- Facilitate executive-level reviews and decision-making where cross-functional intervention is required.
4. Deployment Readiness
- Define and manage deployment readiness criteria across technology and business dimensions.
- Ensure readiness of environments, infrastructure, integrations, data, security controls, observability, support processes, documentation, and operational teams.
- Coordinate UAT, pilot readiness, production readiness, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Identify gaps that may create operational or business risk after launch.
