Senior Mobile Engineer - React Native

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Mobile Apps) to design, build, and maintain high-quality React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android. The role involves contributing across the full mobile software development lifecycle and delivering performant, accessible, scalable, and reliable solutions using strong engineering fundamentals and modern mobile development practices. The ideal candidate takes ownership, maintains a quality-driven mindset, and continuously works toward technical and product excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement in an agile environment. You will help break work into achievable increments, identify dependencies and risks, and remain accountable for outcomes while aligning engineering delivery with product priorities and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Mobile Application Development: Design, architect, build, and maintain mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android.
• Programming: Demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and React Native.
• End-to-End SDLC: Understand and contribute to the complete mobile software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through production release, including tools, strategies, guidelines, and CI/CD.
• Performance and Scalability: Optimize applications for speed, scalability, stability, and native-like performance.
• UI/UX Implementation: Work with product managers and designers to translate user experience and design requirements into high-quality mobile interfaces.
• Accessibility: Apply mobile accessibility principles, current patterns, and tools to create reliable and inclusive functionality.
• Integrations: Implement APIs and integrate third-party services as required.
• Technical and Operational Excellence: Continuously improve code and delivery practices, pay attention to detail, select appropriate tools, and support efficient system operation and monitoring.

Requirements:

• Quality Mindset: Consider edge cases and aim for high-quality implementation across functional and non-functional requirements.
• Curiosity: Ask thoughtful questions, understand the broader product and business context, and avoid working in isolation.
• Passion and Initiative: Share ideas, propose improvements, and help move valuable ideas into the product roadmap and delivery.
• Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with colleagues and mentor or support others where appropriate.

Agile and Delivery Skills:

• Prioritization: Prioritize workload in line with business goals and the product roadmap.
• Work Breakdown: Break work into well-sized tasks that support continuous integration and incremental delivery.
• Dependency and Risk Management: Identify dependencies and risks and understand their impact on delivery.
