As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will lead the development of complex software solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive technical excellence within our organisation. You’ll be embedded on a strategic engagement with an enterprise financial-services client that is migrating its platform to AWS cloud services - an exciting opportunity to work on challenging, high-impact projects, contribute to the success of our clients, and shape the future of not only our business but theirs.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES | THE WHAT & THE HOW
The Essentials
Software Development
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, robust back-end systems and APIs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
Solution Architecture
Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture, identify technical requirements, and design innovative solutions that address complex business challenges. Architect and implement microservices and distributed systems that ensure high availability and performance. Contribute to the migration of services and workloads to AWS, ensuring reliability, security, and performance throughout the transition.
Code Review and Quality Assurance
Conduct code reviews, perform thorough testing, and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of software applications.
Requirement Analysis
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, gather requirements, and propose technical solutions that align with their objectives and budget constraints.
