Full description
Design taste comes first. We’re looking for a designer with strong visual judgment, solid design
fundamentals, and a clear understanding of UI/UX. You should know what makes an interface feel clear, coherent, and well considered, and be able to explain the decisions behind it.
We design and build with AI, directly in working interfaces. No Figma, no traditional handoff. Designers ultimately own the frontend that goes into production.
We use React, but prior React expertise is not required. We can teach the technical workflow. What matters most is your design judgment, curiosity, and willingness to turn ideas into working products.
What you’ll ownDesign direction and visual craft
Bring a clear point of view to typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, color, and motion. Explore distinct directions and refine them into a coherent experience. Recognize when a design is genuinely considered rather than simply polished.
UI/UX and interaction design
Understand the user’s task, organize information clearly, and simplify complex flows. Consider navigation, feedback, accessibility, and interaction states, not just the ideal screenshot.
AI-assisted exploration and execution
Use AI to explore ideas, create interfaces, and accelerate iteration. Critique and improve the output rather than accepting the first result. Your design judgment should drive the tools.
From design to production
Develop the actual components and interfaces that ship, with guidance as you learn our technical workflow. Stay involved through release and keep improving the experience rather than handing it off to be rebuilt.
Quality and consistency
Build reusable patterns, test how the interface feels in use, and catch inconsistencies before review. Turn recurring feedback into clear design rules rather than fixing the same issue repeatedly.
What you’ll bringStrong design taste and fundamentals. A well-developed eye for composition, typography, spacing, proportion, color, and visual hierarchy. You can explain why a design works and identify what needs refinement.
Solid UI/UX understanding. You design around user needs, clear navigation, and understandable
interactions. You can balance visual expression with usability and accessibility.
Experience creating with AI. You’ve made design work using AI and can show it. The tools, medium, and project type are open; thoughtful personal experiments are welcome.
Curiosity and willingness to learn. You want to turn designs into working products and learn the technical side with support. A frontend engineering background is not a prerequisite.
