About Yendo
Hi there, we're Yendo, and our vision is to empower everyday people to build a stronger financial future. In less than 2 years, we’ve saved customers over $100 million in unnecessary interest and fees.
We are using AI to unlock the $1.1 Trillion in vehicle equity trapped within cars owned by Americans in the form of a high limit, standard rate credit card for those traditionally excluded from mainstream financial offerings.
Yendo Credit Cards have similar APRs to those issued for prime borrowers with no hidden fees or overdraft charges and help build their customers' credit score. Yendo's credit limits are 4x higher than cards typically available for non-prime borrowers.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who has experience about crafting intuitive, scalable, and thoughtful user experiences on our Growth Team. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other product designers to shape the future of our application process and consumer app. We are looking for product designers who are well-rounded and have a strong foundation in interaction design and information architecture. Additionally, this team is in the process of incorporating AI supports into our workflows and will continue to scale up our processes and artifact creation with AI, so previous experience implementing AI into the product development cycle is a bonus.
As a senior designer, you will be a bar raiser and help the small but mighty design team establish design excellence and standards of working through close collaboration with your triad and communication with our leadership team. You’ll partner closely with Product, Growth, Engineering, and Credit to launch ground-breaking products that inspire trust, solve real customer problems, and drive measurable impact across the business. You’ll conduct user research and and turn product data into actionable insights, and guide your team through rapid experimentation, tight feedback loops, and high-velocity execution. As a design lead, you’ll maintain a lean, efficient team that delivers outsize impact.
Our design team is tight knit and supports each other through critiques and check-ins, and keeps each other informed through frequent communication. We work in a supportive and fast-paced, high-growth environment where customer obsession, creativity, and speed matter. You’ll challenge assumptions, advocate for the user, and ship meaningful work that drives both business results and long-term impact. You bring a continuous learning mindset and a drive to elevate both your craft and the team around you.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design work across the product development lifecycle, from concept to execution.
- Create low-fidelity flows, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and workflows that communicate user needs, technical constraints, and a North Star vision.
