About the role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the Admin Workflows area of 1Password's Enterprise Password Manager (EPM). With our API first approach to EPM, you will champion API centric workflows and deliver features that help administrators manage, monitor, and support their organizations at scale. You'll shape a roadmap spanning admin capabilities, admin dashboards and reporting, notification systems, account recovery and user confirmation workflows, and agentic (MCP) capabilities — connecting deep platform decisions to customer and business outcomes. This role sits at the center of the enterprise admin experience, with dependencies across many partner teams, so strong cross-functional judgment and communication are essential.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
How we're using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
Our Product philosophy
Senior Product Manager at 1Password (Remote) — aijobsearch
Our philosophy on Product consists of five core pillars:
Focus and Execution — can you ship quickly and measure results?
Customer Empathy — are you motivated first and foremost to solve customer problems?
Effective Communication — can you bring the entire organization — horizontally and vertically — along on the journey?
Go To Market — can you understand and drive the business outcomes through product decisions?
Technology — articulating how our technology beats our competitors.
Product Managers play a highly visible role in the company and are critical to the development and execution of our product strategy. As PMs, we are responsible for setting and championing the high bar for our products. You must excel at prioritization, collaboration, and communication, while holding yourself and others accountable for measuring quality and business results. You'll work with other PMs to understand customer problems and define requirements so your engineering counterparts can create great solutions, and you'll take a holistic view of customer needs that cross buyers, users, and administrators. You will work with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and GTM teams to ensure the quality, security, and usability of the service.
What we're looking for:
5+ years of product management experience owning a product or a set of features and being responsible for its ultimate success, in B2B or enterprise software
A track record of shipping and improving software and driving business impact through the features or products you owned
Experience building for administrator or IT personas — workflows, dashboards, APIs, or enterprise governance capabilities
Strong experience with API first product design, API development, and API management workflows, with the technical depth to engage directly with system architecture and developer documentation
An action-bias that won't wait to create change
Obsession with internal and external customer problems, and the ability to represent the voice of the customer to motivate the team
Strong presentation and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that scale from technical to non-technical audiences
Ability to inspire and bring together different teams and stakeholders to drive forward, solve problems, and remove roadblocks
Ability to prioritize tasks and use data — both qualitative and quantitative — to drive decision-making
Strong background and experience in cybersecurity is needed.
Experience training internal teams as part of bringing products to market, particularly sales, support, and customer success
What you can expect:
Working with a passionate, highly motivated Product team that is invested in your success and the success of your initiatives
A dynamic, highly collaborative environment
Empowerment to contribute to, and help drive, overall product strategy and the relative priority of the features you own on the roadmap
Being a part of the team that drives the success of 1Password, our products, and business to the next level
Having fun working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team that prioritizes close collaboration over rigid processes, while continuously embracing an entrepreneurial culture

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
