About the role :
Snapmint is looking for a Product Manager Payments Service to lead the transformation of our core financial infrastructure. You will own the transition from a monolithic payment structure to a world-class Payment Orchestration Layer. This is a high-impact, senior role responsible for decoupling complex payment logic from our core services to build a unified, provider-agnostic engine that powers incoming collections and outgoing disbursements for millions of users.
Responsibilities : Payment Orchestration Strategy & Roadmap :
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Snapmints payment orchestration layer with the existing loan/ order management system
- Lead product strategy for consolidating multiple PG/ bank integrations into a single intelligent routing infrastructure
- Drive payments reliability end-to-end, owning SLAs, uptime targets, and incident management
Payments & Reconciliation Analytics :
- Own EMI collections, reconciliation, refunds, reversals, and payout tracking across all gateways with key metrics and tripwires defined across all
- Ensure auditability and accuracy at scale across EMI collections, settlements, refunds, and payout flows
Stakeholder & Partner Management :
- Align cross-functionally with engineering, collections, finance, and risk to deliver the payments roadmap
- Manage external PG partnerships and internal stakeholders to keep the orchestration layer moving
Compliance & Risk :
- Partner with risk teams to embed fraud controls within the orchestration layer
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and translate them into product requirements
Qualifications :
- 6+ years of post-MBA experience in Product Management, with a track record of owning complex, high-scale product areas
- Prior experience working at a payment gateway (PG) or payments infrastructure company is strongly preferred; fintech/lending experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of Indian payment ecosystems
- Prior experience working closely with engineering and design teams
- Data-driven mindset with ability to use metrics to drive decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
