Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a portfolio of HHB initiatives, with an initial primary focus on the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This is a professional services consulting engagement with assignments authorized on a task-by-task basis.

What you'll be doing

• Lead all aspects of assigned projects — define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs; develop and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, and project management plans

• Establish governance structures and communication plans at project outset

• Manage daily project activities to ensure work progresses according to approved plans; maintain project documentation, decisions, and approvals in alignment with HHB requirements

• Lead cross-functional teams; facilitate collaboration across technical and business groups; delegate work, provide direction, and resolve team challenges

• Serve as the primary point of contact for HHB; manage vendor performance against deliverables and costs; communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and sponsors

• Monitor vendor performance, identify non-performance, and recommend corrective actions; escalate issues as required

• Develop and manage detailed work plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations

• Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle; manage scope changes through formal change control processes

• Prepare and deliver regular status reports, presentations, and updates to stakeholders and sponsors

• Organize and facilitate project meetings, briefings, and progress updates

• Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality requirements; coordinate testing, validation, and acceptance processes

• Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable project records in HHB systems (e.g., SharePoint)

• Develop, track, and forecast budgets; review, track, and approve invoices

• Lead project closeout activities including knowledge transfer, operational handover, and lessons learned

• Provide guidance on project management best practices, tools, and methodologies

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary IT or infrastructure projects

• Strong background in formal project management methodologies; PMP or equivalent certification considered an asset

• Experience with CMMS, EAM, or enterprise system implementations preferred

• Proven ability to manage vendors, contracts, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders
