Overview
The Senior Project Manager, SAP S/4HANA Transformation, leads large-scale global ERP transformation programs, overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations. This role partners with business leaders, IT teams, system integrators, and external vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
The position manages all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support. Candidates must have extensive SAP ERP project leadership experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and fluency in English and Italian. International travel is required.
ResponsibilitiesProject & Program Leadership
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources, and governance structures.
- Oversee multiple project workstreams and ensure achievement of project objectives and milestones.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison among business leaders, executive sponsors, IT teams, and implementation partners.
- Facilitate steering committees, workshops, status reviews, and executive communications.
- Coordinate global cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery.
SAP S/4HANA Delivery
- Oversee solution design, integration, data migration, testing, training, deployment, and cutover activities.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with SAP implementation methodologies and organizational governance standards.
Financial, Risk & Change Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, vendors, and resource allocations.
