Your Role
As a Senior Python Developer with Capgemini, you will play a key role in the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of scalable software solutions. You will leverage your extensive experience in Python development to deliver high-quality applications, drive technical excellence, and contribute to architectural decisions. Working within a complex ecosystem, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet business needs.
In this role you will:
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize software applications and services using Python and related frameworks, following established architecture and development standards.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and backend components while ensuring seamless interoperability with internal and external systems.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate actively in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions and technology selection.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices related to performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps initiatives to optimize software delivery processes.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, API specifications, deployment procedures, and operational guides.
