Senior Quantity Surveyor

If you're an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for greater project ownership, broader exposure and a genuine pathway towards Associate Director, this is an opportunity to build your career with a growing national consultancy that values leadership as much as technical expertise.

Working across commercial, residential, infrastructure, education, health and government projects, you'll continue developing your commercial capability while leading major commissions, strengthening client relationships and mentoring the next generation of Quantity Surveyors. With a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative culture, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while continuing to grow professionally.

This is more than a project delivery role. It's an opportunity to become a trusted advisor, expand your leadership capability and position yourself for the next stage of your career.

Why you'll enjoy this role

• Deliver projects across commercial, residential, infrastructure, education, health and government sectors

• Take ownership of major commissions while building long-term client relationships

• Clear pathway towards Associate Director within two years for the right individual

• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors while continuing to develop your own leadership capability

• Hybrid working, with the flexibility to work from home two days per week

• Join a growing national consultancy with a strong pipeline of work and long-term career opportunities

• Be part of a collaborative team that values knowledge sharing, professional development and technical excellence

What you'll be doing

You'll lead the commercial delivery of projects from early feasibility through to completion, providing strategic cost management advice across a diverse portfolio of developments.

Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, you'll prepare cost plans, oversee procurement and contract administration, manage commercial risk and become a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

As a senior member of the team, you'll mentor junior Quantity Surveyors, contribute to technical excellence across the business and continue building strong client relationships while managing multiple projects across a broad range of sectors.

What you'll need

• 5+ years' consultancy experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management

• Strong pre and post contract experience across the project lifecycle

• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills

• The ability to lead projects independently while mentoring junior team members

• Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving capability
