Our mission: we turn energy-efficient retrofits for multi-family residential buildings into predictable, lucrative investment opportunities. When it comes to modernisations, the real estate market is often a black box of rough estimates and fragmented processes. We are changing that. Through our integrated platform and streamlined workflow, we transform 'brown assets' into future-proof, high-yield properties.
About the Role
Department: Prod & Tech
Functional Home: Automation
Reports to: CPO / Head of Product & Technology or designated Engineering Lead
Location: Berlin, office-first
Seniority: Senior
We are looking for a Senior Software Automation Engineer specializing in low-code automation to help us turn manual, repetitive, and fragmented workflows into scalable automated systems. You will belong to the Automation Team, but your work will be embedded across cross-functional squads. You will collaborate with Product, AI, Software Engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and rapidly build automation solutions.
This is not simply a workflow-builder role. We are looking for someone who combines software engineering thinking with low-code execution - someone who can understand complex processes, design robust automations, integrate systems, and know when a low-code solution is appropriate versus when custom engineering is required.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Architecture
- Design end-to-end business and product automation workflows.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual processes.
- Build reliable, maintainable, and observable automation systems.
- Design integrations between SaaS platforms, APIs, databases, AI services, and internal applications.
- Establish reusable automation patterns and components.
Low-Code Development
- Build production-grade workflows using leading low-code/no-code platforms.
- Configure APIs, webhooks, triggers, actions, authentication, transformations, and error handling.
- Integrate CRM, ERP, communication, productivity, AI, and internal systems.
- Create automation workflows that can be maintained and extended as the business scales.
AI + Automation
- Combine AI capabilities with workflow automation.
- Build intelligent workflows using LLMs, classification, extraction, enrichment, routing, and decision logic.
