Overview
*This role is located in our Orlando, FL office, and requires four days per week on‑site.*
The RMR Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable applications. This role is designed for a developer who pairs "end-to-end" hands-on experience with a passion for AI-augmented engineering. Solid experience with multi-layered web application development is required.
The ideal candidate doesn't just write code; they leverage AI development tools to accelerate the SDLC—from architectural prototyping to automated testing—while collaborating closely with IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions for the real estate industry.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Develop: Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Clean Architecture and modern engineering practices (TDD, SOLID).
- AI-Augmented Engineering: Proactively use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate coding, refactor legacy logic, and automate documentation.
- Cloud-Native Design: Participate in architectural design sessions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and optimized for the Azure ecosystem.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within Agile teams to translate business requirements into high-performance features, participating in code reviews and sprint planning.
- Innovation: Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for automation and the integration of Generative AI within business workflows.
