Senior Software Engineer

From vision to execution: own the product that’s changing sales tech

What if your next role finally gave you the ownership, impact, and freedom you’ve been craving?

If you want a role where you can build fast, own big pieces of the product, and actually see your work move the needle, Bizzy is where you want to be. You won’t be a cog in a giant engineering machine, you’ll be shaping the core of a platform that’s on its way to becoming Europe’s #1 sales workspace. Here, you get to work across the stack, ship quickly, and bake AI into real, user-facing features - not as a side experiment, but as the heart of the product. You’ll have massive ownership, modern tools, and the freedom to bring new ideas into production. And as we scale, you’ll grow with us: technically, personally, and as a leader. If you’re hungry to build, eager to ship, and ready to leave a fingerprint on a fast-growing product, this is your playground.

Based in Ghent, with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

What you’ll be doing?

• Own the problem, not just the code

You're not here to execute tickets. As a product engineer, you'll own problems end-to-end - from discovery and talking to customers, all the way to launch. That means taking on a meaningful slice of product management: defining what to build, why, and for whom. You'll deeply understand our customers' problems and make sure the things we ship actually solve them. This role is way more than engineering.

• Own code & architecture, front to back

You'll take the lead front to back. You design it, you build it, you ship it. TypeScript is your weapon of choice. You won't just use or play with AI - you'll bake it into the core product offering.

• Write code you’re proud of

Clean, fast and scalable. You catch issues before they catch you. PRs, run tests, quality and performance … it’s all second nature.

• Level up the team

You share what you know, enable others and raise the bar. Whether you want to go deep as an expert or grow as a team lead – you’ve got the runway.

• Stay ahead of the curve

You stay curious, test new tools and plug the best ones straight into the product.

• Move fast and fix real problems

You thrive and embrace the startup pace. Iterate fast, solve problems creatively and jump on new challenges as we scale.

What makes you a great fit?

• You’ve got 8+ years of engineering under your belt and a solid track record building full-stack products. Bonus points if you’ve led a team or owned big pieces of a system before.
