Agricultural Innovation at Organifarms
We are a startup at the forefront of agricultural innovation, specializing in the development of harvesting robots for strawberries. Our mission is to revolutionize the way strawberries are harvested, making it more efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective
You have...
- Completed degree in computer science with specialization in robotics, computer vision or a comparable field of study
- 3 years of hands-on experience with 2D/3D computer vision, machine learning and 3D vision sensors
- Profound skills with Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, Docker, Linux and Git
- Experience with ROS 2 (Robot Operating System) in production
- A passion for the development of innovative solutions and creative ideas to improve our robots
- Team spirit and entrepreneurial thinking
- Fluency in English is required, fluency in German is a big plus
Your role at Organifarms:
- You will develop computer vision pipelines for 7-axis robots used for harvesting. Our robot operates in a greenhouse and faces a highly dynamic environment. Changing light conditions, fast robot movements and movable targets are challenges the vision system has to overcome.
- You will rapidly prototype your designs and ideas on real hardware
Depending on your skills and interests:
- Developing algorithms for panoptic segmentation of the robot's environment
- Developing self-learning vision-based robot control algorithms
- Developing 3D object detection, e.g., generation of collision objects using 3D perception sensors (LiDAR, stereo cameras) and their respective point clouds
- Integrating new vision sensors to enhance the robot’s understanding of the environment
- Developing vision-based tracking methods
Benefits at Organifarms:
- 30 days of vacation
- Hansefit membership or Givve Card
- Flexible working hours
- Free beverages and fruits
- Homeoffice
- Motivated and talented team with a passion for innovative ideas
Your application
If you match most of these requirements and want to help shape the future of agricultural robotics, we encourage you to apply.
