About the roleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play an important role in building and evolving our products. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team, working closely with Product and Engineering to solve interesting problems and help shape our technology as we grow.
You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with modern backend technologies and AI, while contributing to the way we design, build, and improve our systems. We value people who are curious, pragmatic, and enjoy sharing ideas and learning from others.
What you'll doYou’ll design, build, and evolve scalable backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, help improve the quality and scalability of our technology, and work with the team to address technical challenges and opportunities.
You’ll also work closely with Product to turn business needs into technical solutions and help bring new ideas into production. A part of the role will be exploring and integrating AI capabilities, including LLMs and agentic workflows, as well as using AI tools to improve how we develop software.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll also support and mentor other engineers, contribute to technical discussions, and help create a collaborative environment where the team can do great work.
What we're looking forYou likely have 5+ years of professional backend experience, think carefully about architecture, and are genuinely curious about AI — while staying comfortable working across a broad range of domains and shifting priorities. More specifically:
- Backend Expertise: Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Architecture & Microservices: Experience designing, building, and scaling distributed microservices and APIs.
- AI & LLMs: Experience working with AI agents and integrating LLM-based workflows into production systems.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
