Senior Software Engineer (Python) – Bangalore (Hybrid)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) with 3–5 years of experience to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Django, FastAPI, and API development, with hands-on experience in building scalable backend services and integrating data workflows.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid model (3 days WFO in Bangalore) and contribute to AI-driven engineering workflows, automation agents, and next-generation intelligent product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Design, develop, and deliver backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Django).
- Data Integration: Build pipelines interacting with SQL databases, Redis, and Azure cloud storage.
- Quality Practices: Write unit/integration tests (pytest), follow CI/CD, and ensure observability.
- AI Augmentation: Use AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI) to enhance coding, testing, and automation.
- Collaboration: Work in Agile teams, participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
