About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to independently deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing complex applications, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring software quality, reliability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can navigate complex technical challenges, collaborate effectively with international stakeholders, and support the development of other engineers within our dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software applications using Python and Java, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Translate complex functional and business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Independently investigate software defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable, long-term solutions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards and team quality.
• Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
• Take full ownership of technical deliverables from initial requirement analysis through to final release and production support.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to communicate technical progress, identify risks, and manage project dependencies effectively.
• Ensure all engineering practices adhere to company security policies and ISO 27001-aligned procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on programming proficiency in Python and/or Java, with a deep understanding of object-oriented design.
• Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and system integration patterns.
• Proven experience in debugging, automated testing, version control (Git), and modern code review practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage technical priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and building/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and technology governance.
