Overview
In this role you will design and deliver the OMAI Fusion platform to centralize and distribute high-quality reference data across Citi. You will build and optimize data pipelines and backend services using Python, while leveraging Oracle databases to support enterprise operations. You will collaborate with analysts and engineering teams, uphold quality and security standards, and contribute to DevOps and Agile practices. This role offers the chance to shape critical data infrastructure at scale within a global financial services context.

Responsibilities
- Design, code, test and implement backend services, ETL pipelines, and real-time/batch processing for the Fusion platform using Python
- Architect and optimize Oracle databases; develop advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with business analysts, data stewards and application teams to translate data requirements into scalable implementations
- Identify bottlenecks and perform performance tuning; apply partitioning, indexing and memory optimization
- Define and adhere to SDLC standards; implement TDD, automated tests and code reviews
- Support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments, and manage environment configurations
- Provide production support, root cause analysis and ensure compliance with security and governance standards
- Mentor junior developers and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
