**Senior Software Engineer, Data Services (.NET /
Python) **

Location: United States, remote.

Team: Innovation Team, Data Services pod.

Elevate your expertise to new heights at 3Pillar, the premier destination for trailblazing senior
software engineers like yourself. You will join the pod that owns the downstream half of a
large-scale infrastructure data platform: capturing a high-volume telemetry stream,
contextualizing it against systems of record, modeling it, and exposing it through APIs and
telemetry feeds that other products depend on.
Your role extends beyond the realm of code composition. You will architect transformative
solutions that reshape entire industries, and here that means building the services and APIs that
turn a firehose of raw infrastructure data into something the business can actually query, join,
and act on.

Key Responsibilities: **

• Develop and implement UI components using React, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Build and maintain backend API endpoints in the pod's core language, .NET and Python depending on the service.

• Craft client code that is not just efficient but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.

• Optimize components for performance across supported browsers, and troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth user experiences.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for the code you own.

• Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.

• Gather requirements, validate their understanding amongst the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation.

• Foster collaboration with fellow engineers, designers, and managers to comprehend user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
