Join Microsoft as a Software Solution Engineer – Developer Productivity, where you’ll help enterprise customers modernize their software development lifecycle (SDLC), adopt Agentic SDLC practices, and build the next generation of intelligent applications.
Microsoft is transforming the developer experience by bringing AI into every stage of the SDLC. Bringing together GitHub, Visual Studio, VS Code, and Azure AI Foundry, you’ll help customers explore how developers and AI agents can work together across planning, coding, testing, deployment, and operations. Your focus will go beyond individual productivity: you’ll help engineering leaders rethink development workflows, integrate agentic capabilities into their toolchains, and pursue measurable improvements in delivery speed, software quality, and security.
As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll translate customer priorities into secure, scalable architectures and practical adoption roadmaps. Whether helping a global bank modernize DevSecOps, scaling GitHub Copilot across thousands of engineers, or designing workflows that combine developer expertise with AI agents, you’ll guide customers from traditional SDLC practices toward AI-native, agentic software delivery while maintaining human oversight, governance, and engineering rigor. You’ll also help teams use Microsoft’s developer and AI platforms to build, integrate, and operate intelligent applications.
Through hands-on proofs of concept, hackathons, code-with sessions, and architecture workshops, you’ll work directly with developers, engineering leaders, and platform teams to demonstrate technical value, influence platform decisions, and accelerate adoption.
