Senior Staff Software Engineer Site Reliability and Infrastructure

You will own infrastructure reliability for high-scale video ingestion and social features. You will manage the on-call rotation, respond to incidents, lead actionable postmortems, and partner directly with engineering teams to meet infrastructure needs. You will scale databases, improve infrastructure capacity, and build durable fixes that support rapid growth.

Requirements

• Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience at scale
• Hands-on experience operating Elasticsearch for user-facing features
• Deep GCP experience, including Kubernetes, VPC, IAM, Cloud Logging, and managed services
• Deep production experience scaling and sharding MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
• Production experience with GitHub Actions
• P0 incident response and postmortem leadership experience
• Clear incident communication
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments
• Ability to distinguish sustainable fixes from short-term patches
