Full description
ICON develops advanced construction technology, combining robotics, software, and advanced materials to transform how the world builds. We construct homes and multi-story buildings for commercial and government customers.
This role will serve as the dedicated finance partner to the leadership of ICON's construction businesses, including our government and defense work, with full P&L oversight across go-to-market, delivery, and operations. You will establish the planning and review cadence these businesses run on. You will report to the VP of Finance and operate as an embedded individual contributor with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
- Own the annual budget, long-range plan, and underlying financial models.
- Establish and run the monthly operating cadence, including forecast updates, budget-vs-actuals reviews with business leadership, and a standard review package that explains key drivers and recommended actions.
- Own the revenue forecast end to end, translating pipeline, win rates, and project timing into a reliable view of bookings and revenue.
- Forecast and track project-level profitability and gross margin.
- Build capacity and operations forecasts that translate revenue targets into staffing needs, print and delivery output, utilization, and the mix of billable and non-billable time.
- Define and track operating metrics such as utilization, print productivity, and unit costs.
- Advise business leadership on operating and investment decisions through investment cases and scenario analysis.
