Must have
- 8+ years of product management experience, including senior/lead role owning a consumer product end to end
- Proven track record of setting product vision and driving measurable outcomes at scale (tens of millions of users or more)
- Experience leading engineers, running sprint cadences with predictable delivery across cross-functional teams
- Deep JavaScript and React skills: read/write production code, review PRs, build working prototypes
- Intuition for distributed and local-first systems (sync, offline behavior, consistency trade-offs)
- Hands-on experience shipping and scaling mobile apps on iOS and Android, including App Store and Google Play logistics and release management
- Experience with real-time voice and video calling products and their quality/latency/reliability trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to rapidly prototype product concepts
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting vision and strategy to boards, executives and investors
- Judgment to make fast, high-quality decisions with incomplete information; understanding of urgency vs importance
- Thrive in a high-intensity, fast-moving environment with willingness to work extended hours when needed
- Excellent written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Product leadership experience at a major messaging app (WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, WeChat, Signal, Viber, KakaoTalk)
- Experience with peer-to-peer technologies, distributed systems or decentralized protocols; Holepunch, Pear or Hypercore exposure a strong plus
- Experience growing a product in emerging markets or across multiple regions and languages
- Background in privacy, encryption or security-focused products
- Familiarity with Electron, React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks, installer systems, and Linux packaging (Snap, AppImage, Flatpak)
- Solid understanding of testing approaches (unit, integration, end-to-end), test automation and performance testing
- Engineering background or computer science degree
- Experience with Git, issue trackers and modern collaboration tools

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to own the vision for Keet and lead it to a billion users, competing head-on with WhatsApp and Telegram. This is not a maintenance role. You will define where Keet goes, convince the board and the team that it is the right direction, and then drive the execution that gets it there.
