At Monzo, our mission is to make money work for everyone, everywhere. We’re looking for Senior Technical Program Managers to join our Engineering teams across Payments and Business Banking, helping us deliver complex, high-impact programmes as we continue to grow.
Depending on the team you join, you could be:
- Payments: helping us ship more and better payment products, working across teams to solve complex technical challenges and improve how money moves for millions of customers.
- Business Banking: helping us build Monzo into the financial control centre for SMEs. You’ll work across teams to deliver features, services and integrations that make running a business simpler from invoicing and expenses to payments and automation.
Both roles have a wide remit and involve working across engineering, product and other teams at Monzo. We’re looking for people who can bring clarity to complex technical programmes, influence across teams and help turn ambitious ideas into meaningful outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of launching payment products that cross multiple teams and disciplines
- Manage cross-collective programs:
- Define program roadmaps and milestones, set priorities, manage trade-offs, identify and manage critical path and risks, ensure alignment with the business goals and ambition
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders, both technical and non-technical across the business to ensure alignment and speed of delivery
- Manage dependencies, timeline and sequencing of delivery
- Drive effective decision making to remove blockers and speed up delivery
