Senior Technical Recruiter

About ResMed

ResMed is a global leader in digital health and medical devices, improving the lives of millions of people living with Sleep Apnea, COPD, and other chronic conditions. With over 10,000 employees across 140 countries, we sit at the intersection of hardware, software, and data science.

We are amid a significant technology transformation - accelerating capability in AI and machine learning, Software and Platform Engineering, and Product development. For a senior tech recruiter, this is a compelling moment to join: complex hiring portfolios, a genuine transformation mandate, and some of the most interesting engineering and product talent challenges in MedTech.

About the Role

As a Senior TA Partner within our global Product & Technology TA team, you will own end-to-end recruitment across software, hardware and platform engineering as well as critical product management hiring. You will be the subject-matter expert in US technology and/or devices talent markets, partnering with engineering and product leaders to deliver high-quality, strategically sourced hires.

This is a high-impact talent partner, not a coordination role. You will be expected to provide market intelligence, proactive pipeline thinking, and genuine technology talent expertise in every search.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position with the potential for longer-term opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for complex technology and product roles - from role briefing and market mapping through to offer management.

• Act as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and People Business Partners, providing market intelligence and candidate landscape insight to shape hiring strategies.

• Lead proactive sourcing for passive technology talent across software engineering, platform engineering, hardware engineering, and product management disciplines.

• Partner with executives and People Business Partners to effectively manage and deliver strategic senior leadership recruitment, with a focus on Product & Technology Director and Senior Director roles.

• Build and sustain talent pipelines for key capability areas, including AI/ML engineering, full-cycle/full-stack software engineering, and senior product management roles.

• Represent ResMed's EVP and technology transformation story to candidates in the APAC market.

• Utilise data, sourcing analytics, and AI tools to enhance efficiency and improve talent acquisition service delivery.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 5 years of technology recruiting experience, with a track record across software engineering, hardware engineering, and/or tech product management in an enterprise technology or high-tech environment.

• Strong working knowledge of the US West Coast technology talent markets, particularly San Diego.

• Demonstrable expertise in software and platform engineering understanding of the candidate landscape, compensation dynamics, and sourcing strategies for this competitive discipline.

• Advanced direct sourcing and passive talent engagement skills - market mapping, dynamic search techniques, talent intelligence tools, and the ability to convert passive candidates through informed outreach.

• Proven stakeholder management capability, with experience partnering with senior Product and Engineering leaders and People Business Partners in fast-paced, transformation-driven organisations.

• Comfort operating with autonomy - you can set direction on a search, not just execute a process.

• Experience in senior leadership recruitment, using executive search and selection techniques, is highly valued.

Preferred

• Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a technology-related discipline - or equivalent specialist recruiting experience.

• Experience applying technical assessment frameworks in engineering and product hiring contexts.

• Established professional networks in the Singapore and/or Sydney technology talent markets.

Why ResMed

• Join a technology transformation that is truly reshaping the way we build products - not just a rebranding exercise.

• Work within a dynamic global TA team to shape the future of the TA function, implement a clear TA strategy, and provide executive support for talent as a key business priority.

• Recruit for essential roles: senior software engineers, senior platform engineers, product managers, and key leadership roles responsible for developing products that directly enhance patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with highly capable, humble, and passionate people who are dedicated to creating products that genuinely impact people’s lives.
