About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to own the other end of that loop: the dashboards and web surfaces where the model’s output becomes a decision someone actually makes. These are dense operational screens where retail and logistics teams plan work, spot exceptions, and measure results, and you’d own them outright.
It’s a design problem with teeth: the model is fast, usually right, and sometimes wrong, and someone has to act on it before the shift ends. These surfaces were previously run by an external design partner, so instead of inheriting someone else’s patterns, you’d be rebuilding the interaction model for how operators trust, override, and act on what the system tells them.
- Own end-to-end UX for your product areas, from early concept through implementation, with focus on data visualization dashboards
- Translate complex technical capabilities and dense operational data into simple, powerful user experiences through clear user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, tech leads, QAand field teams to keep the end-to-end customer workflow coherent, and to balance user experience against technical feasibility and commercial reality.
- De-risk the roadmap with research: scope and brief studies with our external research partner, use field teams for continuous access to users, and run lightweight studies independently when needed.
- Contribute to Scandit's product design system in partnership with Staff Designer, peers and engineering.
Who You Are
- 6+ years as a UX Designer in SaaS, enterprise, or technology-focused environments, including at least 2 years on data-dense operational surfaces such as analytics, reporting, BI, or dashboards.
- Demonstrated end-to-end delivery, from research and concepting through detailed design to implementation, across web and mobile products.
- Hands-on experience in cross-functional product teams with Product, Engineering, and Enterprise Success.
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset. You share work early, invite feedback, and help build a culture of open dialogue.
