Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Interface Systems Engineer to join our team. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications below.
Roles and Responsibilities
- This role will be a member of a team of system engineers who will continue to mature the interfaces products for the weapon system from Preliminary Design Review phase to a Critical Design Review and beyond.
- Work in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
- Responsible for leading and/or supporting the development of at least the following key interface artifacts:
- Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Interface Requirements & Verification Plans
- Interface Logical and Physical Architecture
- Interface Nx CAD Models
- Interface Mentor Capital Wiring Diagrams
