About IKE
Every utility pole carries something essential: power, fiber, and the connections communities depend on. We’re ikeGPS, the PoleOS™ Company, and we’re working to become the standard for collecting, managing, and analyzing pole and overhead asset information. Electric utilities, communications companies, and their engineering partners rely on our solutions to design, construct, and inspect overhead infrastructure. It’s an industry that flies under the radar, and we’re proud to help build the power and communications infrastructure of the future.
IKE is publicly traded on the New Zealand (NZX) and Australian (ASX) stock exchanges under the ticker IKE. We’re a collaborative team, with our US headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado, offices in Chelsea, Alabama, and Wellington, New Zealand, and colleagues working across the US. We’re guided by Manaakitanga, a te reo Māori word for caring for and uplifting others, which we live as “we rise by lifting others.” Our values shape how we work: we keep things simple, speak openly, and bring ingenuity to every challenge.
The Role
As our Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll own the reliability, security, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure behind the IKE product line. You’ll partner closely with engineering leaders and developers across the team to build efficient pipelines, clear infrastructure roadblocks, and keep our platforms aligned with our architectural vision. The result: engineers who ship with speed and confidence.
You'll set the standard for how our platforms run, with high uptime, strong security, and a developer experience that makes the right way the easy way. Your work protects our customers and directly shapes how quickly we deliver value to the utilities and communications companies that rely on us.
Why This Role
- AI-first engineering: agentic AI tools are part of how this team works, and you’ll help shape the practices and standards around them.
- Real ownership: set the reliability and security standards for every IKE product.
- Visible impact: on a collaborative team, your work shows up directly in how fast and safely we ship.
- Global collaboration: work alongside engineers in the US and New Zealand.
