- 7+ years professional software engineering experience with hands-on production development
- 5+ years full-stack experience with ASP.NET/C# and React, Angular, or comparable frontend frameworks
- 3+ years at Software Architect, Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, or comparable level
- 2+ years leading a software engineering team or comparable people/technical leadership
- Delivered production AI solutions beyond proof-of-concept
- Experience designing AI agents, tool-calling workflows, multi-step orchestration, or production agentic systems
- Hands-on experience with at least one major LLM/AI platform (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI)

- Strong backend engineering/architecture with ability to integrate AI into complex existing systems

Position Overview
We are seeking a Software Development Team Lead to lead a multidisciplinary team of full-stack and AI engineers supporting Atlas Technica’s internal software products. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for team development, software architecture, engineering standards, technical delivery, and the responsible adoption of AI across both our products and software development practices.
The Software Development Team Lead will set technical direction, guide architecture and system design, establish engineering standards, and help the team navigate complex technical decisions. This individual will work closely with Product, Project Management, Business Analysis, and other stakeholders to translate business priorities into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
The successful candidate will combine strong software engineering and architecture expertise with people leadership, sound technical judgment, and practical experience delivering production AI solutions. This leader should be equally comfortable coaching engineers, reviewing architecture, solving complex technical problems, and establishing responsible AI practices that improve both product capabilities and engineering effectiveness.
Position Responsibilities:
