CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: A current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland (MD) polygraph is required for consideration.
The Software Engineers will focus on developing graphical user interfaces and dashboards, deploying and managing applications in an AWS cloud environment, integrating new functionality with established tools through tech transfer initiatives, automating key workflows, and integrating artificial intelligence (Al) and machine learning (ML) models into our workflows. The ideal candidate will be a versatile problem-solver with a strong foundation in software development principles and a passion for building innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-friendly GUls and interactive dashboards. Design, deploy, and manage applications and infrastructure in AWS. Integrate new features and functionalities into existing tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows to streamline processes.
- Integrate Al/ML models into existing systems to enhance functionality and improve decision-making. Monitor and optimize automated workflows and Al/ML model performance.
- Languages: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- GUI/Dashboard: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, experience with at least one JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js-willingness to learn is key). Experience with Tkinter or similar Python GUI libraries is a plus.
