Software Engineer (Platform)

We're looking for a Platform Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure behind Revic's AI-native revenue engine. You'll own the systems that keep our AI agents fast, reliable, and running at scale. If you love making complex systems feel effortless, this one's for you.

##
About Revic

Great sellers are the lifeblood of every business. They build relationships, understand needs, and close deals that drive growth. But too often, they're buried under administrative work, disconnected tools, and processes that pull them away from what they do best: selling.

We believe salespeople deserve better. They deserve technology that works for them, not against them.

Revic is an AI-native sales acceleration engine built to uplift sales professionals. We handle the complexity: analyzing data, identifying opportunities, triggering the right workflows, so reps can focus on the human side of sales. The conversations. The relationships. The moments that matter.

Our platform learns what's working, defines who to sell to, and gives reps the context they need to move with confidence and precision. It removes the friction that slows them down and amplifies their natural strengths.

Sales will always be human. Revic exists to make sure it stays that way, by letting AI handle everything else.

##

Why This Role Exists

Revic's AI agents process terabytes of data, orchestrate dozens of integrations, and make real-time decisions that impact enterprise revenue pipelines. As we scale, we need someone to make sure the foundation underneath all of that is rock solid.

We need a Platform Engineer who can build infrastructure that scales gracefully, stays observable, and lets our product engineers move fast without worrying about what's underneath.

##
The Technical ChallengeThe Core Problem: How do you build infrastructure that supports thousands of concurrent AI agent runs, each pulling from dozens of data sources, while keeping latency low, costs reasonable, and reliability high?

Your Mission:

• Design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and developer platform that powers Revic's AI systems

• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment management so engineers ship with confidence

• Build and operate observability, monitoring, and alerting systems that catch problems before customers do

• Manage the infrastructure layer that fuels our AI agents

• Improve developer experience by reducing friction in local development, testing, and production debugging

• Collaborate with product engineering to design systems that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient

• Champion infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, and operational best practices across the team

You Belong Here If...You Think in Systems

• 5+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• You've designed systems that handled real production traffic, not just weekend projects

• You understand distributed systems deeply enough to know where they break

You Ship Relentlessly

• You measure success by uptime, deployment velocity, and how happy your fellow engineers are

• You automate everything you can and document what you can't

• You've built CI/CD pipelines that teams actually trust

You're Technically Strong

• Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Comfortable with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)

• Familiarity with data infrastructure (Spark, Databricks, Airflow, or similar) is a strong plus

You're Intellectually Honest

• You question everything, including your own assumptions

• You know when to build vs. buy vs. wait

• You're energized by debugging hard problems under pressure

Technical Indicators We Love

✓ You've managed infrastructure that supported data-heavy workloads at scale

✓ You've reduced deployment times from hours to minutes

✓ You've built observability that actually helped teams find and fix issues fast

✓ You understand why "it works on my machine" is never the answer

✓ You've wrangled cloud costs without sacrificing performance
