We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Digital Product Area: “Product Engineering”, a part of Digital Engineering at Inter IKEA, Range. The Product Engineering Area is dedicated to ensuring an attractive, consistent, and efficient way of working for product development and our suppliers. Our goal is to establish a strong foundation for IKEA's product information, enabling its seamless use across the entire value chain. We are growing our team in Malmö, Sweden, and are looking for someone with strong communication and collaboration skills who can work effectively with colleagues across locations and seamlessly collaborate with our offshore team.

Through our modernized Supplier Collaboration Platform and Standard Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, you will develop scalable solutions that simplify how product information is shared, managed, and governed across the value chain. You will report to a Software Engineering Manager. The impact of your work will touch homes and hearts around the world.
On a typical day, you will:
- Help shape and evolve the modernized Supplier Collaboration Platform, enabling seamless collaboration between IKEA engineers and suppliers across the globe.
- Design, build, and maintain modern web applications, APIs, and cloud-native services using technologies such as React, .NET10 and Azure.
- Contribute to the Standard Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiative, helping create scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions that support the future of product development.
- Work across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges and deliver business value.
- Influence technical direction and contribute to architecture, design decisions, and engineering best practices.
