● Own performance, capacity, andreliability for your components — including latency, freshness, and indexingthroughput

● Debug and resolve complexproduction issues across distributed systems

● Partner with search ranking,serving, and product teams to evolve the indexing stack toward new requirements

● Raise the technical bar throughdesign reviews, code reviews, and mentorship of other engineers

● Drive technical direction for yourarea, including migrations off legacy components
