- 15+ years of technology leadership experience, including executive responsibility for large-scale software engineering organizations.

The Impact you will have in this role:
The Executive Director, Software Engineering will lead the strategy, delivery, modernization, and operational performance of technology platforms supporting DTCC's Fixed Income business. This leader will oversee globally distributed engineering teams responsible for strategic modernization and public cloud migration of the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) technology platforms and services.
The role combines accountability for mission-critical production services with a transformational agenda focused on cloud adoption, platform modernization, resilience, security, and engineering excellence.
What You Will Lead:FICC Cloud Migration
- End-to-end migration planning and execution across FICC applications, including real-time engines, batch processes, web platforms, data stores, messaging, reporting, and shared services.
- Application-level roadmaps, migration waves, dependency management, environment readiness, testing, production parallel, cutover, stabilization, and legacy platform retirement.
- Formal synchronization with the parallel functional delivery track at strategic milestones to reconcile code, configuration, data, interfaces, and release dependencies before cloud go-live.
