Software Lead
We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Software Engineering Lead to lead the development, delivery, and operations of AI-driven and enterprise software applications, combining hands-on technical expertise with team leadership and a customer-focused approach.
Job Description:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, overseeing task allocation, technical guidance, performance, and delivery.
- Oversee software architecture, development, integration, deployment, and maintenance across backend, frontend, AI platforms, APIs, and automation workflows.
- Drive AI-assisted development using tools such as Claude Code and AI copilots to improve productivity and code quality.
- Lead Python backend development using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Manage DevOps, Linux environments, and containerized deployments using GitLab, Jenkins, and Docker, including CI/CD, automated testing, releases, monitoring, and rollback processes.
- Work with Product Owners, business teams, customers, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Establish architecture, coding, documentation, and security standards; conduct code reviews and resolve technical risks, bottlenecks, and incidents.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, resource planning, technology evaluation, and continuous delivery improvements.
