Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks a Software Engineering Senior Advisor for the Denver, CO location to provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms and computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership on complex engineering assignments and projects, and act as the principal designer for major systems and their subsystems.
- Work closely with client and IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, opportunities for the reuse of existing code.
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solution.
- Document, test, implement and provide on-going support for application.
- Serve as subject matter expert.
- Code new or modified programs as necessary.
- Hybrid Work Schedule.
