Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated senior JAVA software engineer to join a high performing Scrum team to roll out new digital solution for customers. The candidate must be a skilled professional who has high availability software development experience with a desire to work on an Agile, dynamic and flat organisational structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the business logic and backend systems of the product
• Work closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional, performing and complete APIs
• Decipher existing companies’ software systems and be able to hook in application to applicable data sources
• Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
• Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code
• Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
• Collaborate with product managers and other tech leads to ensure applications meet functional requirements and strategic objectives.
• Perform code reviews to guarantee quality and promote a culture of technical excellence in Java development.
• Lead and partake in system changes, ensuring project delivery is efficient and meets quality standards, directly involving oneself in coding and problem-solving.
