Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Business Operations, Shared Services, Threat and Incident Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll be part of our leadership team and work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.

About the role

The Sr. Director of Security Operations is responsible for overseeing a worldwide security operations team that protects the critical data center infrastructure for a complex, multi-hundred-million-dollar client account. This senior leadership position also leads operational control of the Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC), integrating strategic threat response with operational security oversight. The role provides executive-level direction, aligns Securitas and client objectives, and drives program performance, service delivery, and global consistency across all regions. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with a strong command of security operations, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will lead regional directors and manage the full spectrum of global physical security operations, ensuring audit compliance, operational standardization, and quality control. You will also lead global threat and incident response initiatives, develop preventative security strategies, and ensure effective PSOC operations. Your responsibilities include delivering executive-level briefings, nurturing key client relationships, collaborating across functions and time zones, and driving continuous improvement in security operations. Additionally, you’ll coordinate closely with our Program Management Office (PMO), lead cross-functional teams, and provide strategic insights to internal and client leadership.

What you need to apply

We are looking for a seasoned professional that has a bachelor’s degree in business, security, or a related field, along with 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in physical security or account management, including 3–5 years at the senior director level. Global operational experience is required and a background in data centers, threat response, or PSOC leadership are strongly preferred. The role demands excellent communication skills across all organizational levels, strong leadership and crisis management capabilities, and a process-driven mindset.

This position involves travel (approximately 30% of the time), so a passion for travel (and a valid passport) is essential. This role may also have to work nights and weekends to support high priority events and off-hours incidents.

All applicants to this role must have reliable means of communication, reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to/from work, the legal right to work in the country where the position is located, and the ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently.

What you’ll get

We believe great work deserves great rewards—and we’re committed to staying competitive. This role offers a base salary of $200,000 to $230,000. That range is based on the Greater Seattle Area and may flex depending on your experience and location. We’ve got you covered with medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with life insurance, parental leave, and paid time off.

This position requires—with or without reasonable accommodation—the physical and mental ability to perform all essential job functions effectively. This includes maintaining composure under pressure while interacting with clients, authorities, executives, and staff; working independently without direct supervision; and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The role involves regular use of a computer and keyboard, frequent lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity for both near and far distances, as well as the ability to adjust focus, is required.
