Description
Markon is looking for a Sr. Test Automation Engineer to support a team in the Columbia, MD area. This position is part of a team that supports the customers internal command IT systems, including one-of-a-kind cyberspace operations systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure supporting USCYBERCOM mission systems and cyber operations platforms.
- Develop, integrate, and optimize automated testing frameworks and validation pipelines to ensure reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical software systems.
- Support lifecycle management of cyber capabilities by building, deploying, and sustaining scalable infrastructure across development and test environments.
- Evaluate emerging DevOps tools, containerization technologies, and automation frameworks, providing recommendations for integration into existing mission environments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, test plans, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with software developers, cybersecurity analysts, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into testable engineering and deployment solutions.
