Job Description - Staff Mobile Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Staff Mobile Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Flutter development and a solid background in iOS or Android native app development (preferably both). As a Staff Mobile Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and replatforming our mobile applications, ensuring stability, maintainability, and top-notch user experiences. Your focus will include driving efficiencies, improving processes, and mentoring team members to elevate our mobile engineering capabilities.
You Will:
- Lead the development of our mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, integrating best practices for performance and maintainability.
- Architect robust and maintainable solutions, incorporating platform-specific enhancements with Swift or Kotlin where necessary.
- Ownership of app store access and deployment accounts (App Store Connect, Google Play, Firebase) across all the markets, including Apple certificates, provisioning profiles, and code signing repositories.
- Crash/incident triage — Crashlytics thresholds, hotfix decisions, being the escalation point.
- Drive the modernization of the mobile tech stack by leveraging Swift or Kotlin, or both, to ensure platform-specific enhancements where needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement scalable solutions aligned with business goals.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in the development process and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
