This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Hands-on Architect) based in India.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on engineer to take product ideas from initial discovery through architecture, implementation, and production delivery.
In this senior individual contributor role, you will have substantial technical ownership and the independence to build complete product capabilities.
You will translate ambiguous business needs into practical technical solutions while making architectural decisions that balance speed, security, reliability, scalability, and cost.
Working across the full stack, you will develop user interfaces, backend services, APIs, integrations, and data workflows.
AI coding assistants and agents will be central to your engineering approach, helping accelerate development while you retain responsibility for quality and technical decisions.
You will collaborate directly with product and business stakeholders in an international environment, helping shape solutions and raise engineering standards.
Your impact will be measured by your ability to deliver secure, maintainable, and production-ready software with minimal coordination overhead.
Accountabilities
You will own the complete engineering lifecycle, from understanding business problems and evaluating technical options to shipping reliable software and continuously improving it. Your responsibilities will include:
