Position Summary:

Design, engineer, and evolve network and connectivity solutions that enable Penske’s digital products and SaaS platforms to operate securely, reliably, and at scale. This role sits within the Digital Products organization and partners closely with Enterprise IT infrastructure teams to align with enterprise standards while delivering product-centric solutions that meet performance, availability, and scalability requirements.

The Staff System Engineer/Infrastructure Lead serves as a technical leader across network architecture, cloud connectivity, and service reliability. This role works closely with product managers, software engineers, and infrastructure teams to design resilient systems, optimize data flow, and ensure seamless integration across cloud and enterprise environments.

The position requires deep technical expertise, strong systems thinking, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, shared-responsibility model.

This position is based out of our corporate location in Reading, PA. This is an office-first position, in office at least 4 days a week.

• Design and implement network and connectivity solutions supporting digital products and SaaS platforms

• Translate product and engineering requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure designs

• Architect and support hybrid and cloud-native networking solutions across cloud platforms and enterprise data centers
