We recently raised $100M at >$1B valuation and are racing to deploy the most advanced applied ML at production scale.
Our investors include: Khosla Ventures (Keith Rabois & Vinod Khosla), Accel (Miles Clements), Google Ventures, Nat Friedman & Daniel Gross, Adam D'Angelo, Jeff Dean, Jack Altman, Noam Brown, Kyle Vogt, Amjad Masad, Clem Delangue and many other operators/technical leaders.
"Basis is on the frontier of building production-grade, long-horizon agents. They've pushed the limits of what we thought our models could do on real-world, economically valuable, complex accounting tasks. They've been a great collaborator in helping us shape what the future of agents looks like." — Prashant Mital, Applied AI Lead, OpenAI
Basis is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Partner to grow and deepen relationships with our largest and most innovative clients.
As a key member of the GTM team, you will serve as the strategic lead for a portfolio of our largest clients. You will help align teams across Basis and each client, lead growth initiatives, and ensure clients realize the full value of their investment. You will build durable executive relationships, establish clear account strategies, and maintain strong partnership health.
You will manage a portfolio of high-impact accounts as a trusted partner, with ownership of long-term value creation. You will identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, drive measurable business outcomes, and help strengthen the Strategic Accounts function through cross-team initiatives.
Success in this role requires building relationships across customer organizations; executives, technical experts, legal, operations, and other functions. You will set the vision for each client partnership, earn support for broad adoption, and coordinate Basis teams to deliver against shared priorities. You will report to the Head of Strategic Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Navigate complex organizations and build consensus across diverse stakeholders with developed multi-threaded executive relationships.
- Design and execute account strategies that meet or exceed retention and growth targets. Analyze each client’s business, priorities, and market context to translate long-term plans into focused account initiatives.
- Lead expansion by identifying new use cases, business units, and stakeholders within assigned accounts. Spearheading the sale for existing contracted areas and working with Account Executive on expanding contract opportunities.
