Job Summary
Loenbro is seeking motivated and safety-focused Structural Welders to support projects in Kemmerer, Wyoming. This position will perform structural steel welding, fabrication, fitting, and installation activities in an industrial construction environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with SMAW (Stick) and FCAW (Flux Core) welding processes, be able to read and interpret blueprints, and possess structural steel experience in industrial, commercial, energy, or heavy construction settings. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in a fast-paced construction environment.
This project is anticipated to last approximately one year and offers the opportunity to support a major industrial construction project from the ground up.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding utilizing SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and structural steel plans.
- Fabricate, fit, assemble, and install structural steel components.
- Complete field installation and welding activities in accordance with project specifications.
- Produce quality welds that meet AWS standards and project requirements.
- Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and identify deficiencies.
- Perform layout work, material preparation, cutting, fitting, and assembly activities.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
