Summer Intern - Human Resources Rotational Program - Oahu or Hawai'i Island

We recognize our competitive advantage -- our people. We believe in our people, who share our vision of meeting the needs of our employees, customers, and communities and who carry out the continued success of the company. Our employees are committed to the company's foundational values: integrity, excellence, teamwork, environmental stewardship, and community commitment. In turn, we invest in our employees, providing opportunities for challenge and advancement.

Hawaiian Electric's Human Resources Rotational Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple Human Resources disciplines while contributing to meaningful projects that support our employees and business objectives.

Unlike a traditional internship focused on a single department, participants in this rotational program will spend time working with several HR teams, providing exposure to the full employee lifecycle and the strategic role Human Resources plays within the organization.

Interns will receive mentorship from HR professionals, participate in professional development activities, collaborate with fellow interns, and complete a project that integrates learning from multiple HR functions.
