Supervisory Firefighter

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Deliver a comprehensive and published training program for firefighters, fire prevention and E911 Center personnel.

Maintain training records for firefighters, fire prevention and E911 Center personnel utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) automated database systems.

Develop safety and training programs following the guidelines out of DoDI 6055.6, AR 420-1, the International Fire Service Training Association, National Fire Protection Association, KY State Fire Programs and other proponent organizations.

Provide direct oversight for Firefighters who provide actual lectures and hands on training programs to the firefighters and other emergency response personnel.
