Swedish Business Development Consultant - Full-time

The role

VAEKST is looking for a Swedish speaking full-time Business Development Consultant to help drive B2B sales opportunities for our customers. You will support our customers with intelligent market segmentation, outbound sales and market insights by blending technology, such as AI tools, with personalised phone, email and LinkedIn outreach. You will have your own customers and your own pipeline, and it's your job to fill it.

Depending on your profile and the customers you work with, your focus can range from generating new business opportunities to running the full sales process, including closing. This role will strengthen your skills in B2B sales and in building professional relationships in a commercial context.

You'll need to speak and write Swedish at a native level, and be comfortable working in English. Beyond that, it is not a requirement to have years of sales experience, but it's a plus if you do. What matters most is drive and motivation. The people who do well here tend to share a few things: energy, discipline, a genuine interest in other people.

Our company

VAEKST is a leading Nordic B2B growth agency, helping B2B brands grow through sales, marketing and intelligent technology. We combine outsourced sales and marketing activities with software and AI tools to give our customers positive brand awareness, high-quality leads, and valuable customer and market insights, turning connections into sustainable business growth.

Founded during the pandemic in 2020, VAEKST is based in Copenhagen, and today we work across the Nordics and DACH. We cover the full commercial journey for our customers, from the first outreach to the closed deal. Our solutions are designed to support the growth strategies of our customers, making it both scalable and sustainable to expand their customer acquisition.

Working at VAEKST

Join a team of talented people in Copenhagen who combine ambition with a strong sense of community. We work hard and hold each other to a high standard, but we also make room for questions, ideas and the occasional detour. At VAEKST, your development is a shared responsibility, you'll get sparring, the space to take on more as you grow, and feedback often enough that you actually improve from it.

Key performance and learning objectives

A good hire, twelve months in, is someone who performs for their customers, enjoys the work, and can see how they can continue their development at VAEKST, and whose manager would hire them again without hesitating. Here's what that looks like in practice:

• Prospecting: At VAEKST, you will conduct outreach activities in fluent Swedish through phone, email and LinkedIn, engaging decision-makers on behalf of our customers. What good looks like depends on the customer - for most, it's about generating qualified meetings and opportunities. For others, you'll take the process further and handle the dialogue all the way to a closed deal. We'll support you with feedback and training along the way.

• Customer insight & data handling: You will work in HubSpot from day one and log every relevant activity. The point isn't the logging - it's that you can tell your customer what's actually happening in their market, and what they should do about it.

• Customer collaboration & communication: You’ll join client meetings and help present progress and key results. Over time, you’ll take on more of the dialogue yourself. Your ability to communicate clearly and with care will help us build strong and trusting customer relationships.

• Making us better: You'll spot things we don't. What's working in your outreach, where our processes get in your way, which customers we're approaching wrong. We'd rather hear it than have you work around it.

Are you excited to grow with us?

If you've previously worked at a large corporate company, you might find that we are somewhat different. We move quickly, we change our minds when we learn something, and not everything here is fully built yet. That means navigating some uncertainty - and it means taking on responsibility earlier than you would somewhere more established.

If you've made it this far, we hope you can see yourself here. Send us an application - we read every one of them.

Recruitment process

We use a talent assessment as part of our screening. There are no right or wrong answers - it's about whether your talents fit the context you'd be working in. We use the results as one input alongside your application, and completing it is a required step in the process.

• Submit application: Send us your application and relevant documents.

• Talent assessment: You'll receive a link right after applying and we ask you to complete it within 48 hours. It takes 20–50 minutes.

• 1st Interview (60 minutes): Meet with our Head of People & Culture to get to know each other and learn about VAEKST as a company.

• Prepare a case: Spend some time on a case relevant for the position.

• 2nd Interview (60 minutes): Walk through the case with the hiring manager.

• Final decision: We'll make our decision and extend an offer to the right candidate.

You'll hear from us within a week of completing the assessment. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis with a start date as soon as possible.
